Over 20 years ago I installed in the bathroom switch from desktop lamps and simple mechanism (see figure). Its design is very simple and in precision performs the functions of the circuit breaker described in [1].
Worked device 10 years, then had to replace the keypad switch. And that's all!
This example serves to illustrate how an electrical circuit from a half dozen radio components can be replaced by a simple mechanism, consisting from the lever, spring and follower.
