Your attention is acoustic relay. This scheme is fairly simple even for beginners, with only one chip, one transistor, several conder, resistors, and two relays.

It all started with the fact that I have at the cottage hanging lamp on the wall, and when I go upstairs to the 2nd floor in the late evening, it is difficult in the dark to turn on the lamp until it comes :-). Based on this, I came up with the idea to start such a thing, which would include light while clapping, while the second and the cotton off.

This scheme I invented for myself, and just docked two designs into one. Turned out pretty compact! And I decided to put my creation in the light, or rather there used to be manufacturing this lamp. There was a brightness of the lamp, and now acoustic relay. Someone does not understand what the lamp see illustration :

The principle of operation of the relay

Let's start with the moment when the microphone he heard a beep. A microphone as a sensor device has transformed the sound of cotton in El. the signal routed through the capacitor C1 at the input of the circuit COA, which is a pre-amplifier. Next, the amplified signal from the chip flows through the capacitor C6 to cascade, assembled on the transistor VT1. He is also the amplifier AC voltage and a DC amplifier. With the collector of the transistor VT1 signal is supplied to the relay K1, which included, but not for long, it depends on the duration of an audio signal. This time is enough for the relay contacts K1 isolating himself, gave the signal for a trigger that is executed on relay K2. When the trigger is activated, relay K2, which some contacts includes the load, and the other controls the trigger. Correct operation of the trigger is achieved by selection of the resistors R8 and R9.

Setting acoustic relay

When the first cotton lamp must light up and the second one fails. If it is when the cotton is ignited, and immediately after it goes off, then flows through the resistor R9 and the relay coil K2 current below the current release. In this case, you need to twist variable resistor R9. It can be observed that the lamp turns on but not off. This suggests that flows through the resistor R8 and the relay coil K2 current is above the current release, and it holds the anchor of the relay. So you need to twist the resistor R8.
