With the onset of summer, mosquitoes become a real disaster for people in rural areas, and for citizens gardeners. All kinds emit ultrasonic sound, repeatedly advertised, are not very effectively. Various raptors and Fumitoxin" emit noxious odors, possibly not safe for humans/ Some hams (L. 1) going so far as to install a device that kills mosquitoes high voltage.

In this regard, I want to share a proven and safe way to deal with these "creatures".

The fact that mosquitoes, like other nocturnal insects have a habit of fly into the light. So, for a while can lure them to some the lamp, but not to destroy their electric charge (as in sheet 1), and suck in gauze bag with the help of electric fan, such as mounted on the power supplies for the computers. Created by the fan air flow together with the light makes it so that mosquitoes do not have time to enter the premises, if the open window of the room to hang the device.

Advantages of this method are several: first, there is no POI-chemistry, secondly, there is no ultrasound, which acts not only on mosquitoes, but on (headache, know from experience), thirdly, there is no high voltage, and fourth, the resulting structure is extremely simple. There is a disadvantage - hisses quietly the fan.

A schematic drawing of such mosquito trap shown in Fig. 1.

Fig. 1

Role the lure performs a small light bulb (from the fridge), a cartridge which attached to a wire handle, steel wire, bent so that turned out the top loop for suspension. As the case of cardboard two-liter tetrapacked from the juice. Its upper end is cut off, and in the sidewalls pierced with two holes through which the wire handle is attached. In the bottom package slotted hole under dash blower motor. Fan is located so that it pulls air from the lamp down. At the bottom, with the help of elastic bands for hair attached gauze bag.

The whole structure is suspended in a corner of the window opening. Mosquitoes are attracted light, closer to the lamp. And under the action of the air flow drags first, in a cardboard case, and then, a fan driven into a gauze bag, where it stays.

Periodically (approximately once a week), you need to clean the fan blades from adhering to them insects.

Instead of tetrabetta you can use any other suitable cardboard box or make it out of cardboard.
