Ordinary light is powered by a generator driven from Cycling wheels. Because in the scheme of Cycling equipment no batteries no the output voltage of the generator is highly dependent on the speed of rotation wheels, and the brightness of the lights get extremely uneven.

Using as a light source SuperBright LEDs white color luminescence and pulsed DC/DC stabilized voltage Converter, can be done the light, the brightness of which will be not only higher than the lamp filament, but will be maintained consistently high over a very wide the range of the supply voltage.

The figure shows the scheme of the bike lights on three SuperBright LEDs and pulse DC/DC Converter on a chip LT1932.

High and relatively stable, the brightness of LEDs is supported in the range of supply voltage from 2 to 12 V at a maximum current through the LEDs 50 mA.

Generator switching regulator operates at a frequency of about 1 MHz (frequency depends on the resistance R1).

The inductor L1 is finished, allowing a current of at least 100mA.
