The power supply (Fig. 1.25) is designed to supply stable voltage +5 V various digital devices with a current consumption of up to 0.5 A. Transformer T1 is used homemade formed on the yoke SLH. Winding I contains 1650 turns of PEV-1-0,1, winding II - 55 turns Sew-1-0,47.

A simple power supply, 5 volts 0.5 amps

In General, the power supply can use a suitable ready transformer capacity of more than 7 W, providing for the winding II AC voltage 8...10 V at a current of not less than 500 mA.

The control transistor VT1 mounted on an l-shaped dural plate the size of 50x50 and a thickness of 2 mm, which acts as a heat sink.

The conclusions of the base and the emitter passing through the holes in the circuit Board and soldered to respective printed conductors. The collector contact with the printed conductor made through the radiator transistor mounting screws with nuts and dural plate.
