Many years lay on the shelf I LM723 chip. Earlier this chip was represented by foreign design magazines in the 80s-90s. This is a known magazines "RADIOTECHNIKA" (Hungary), "FUNKAMATEUR" (Germany) and others. Currently this chip became available in Russia. The limits of adjustment of the output voltage (as in passport) from 2 to 37 V. after some thought, I built the power supply on the chip with the following parameters:

IOUT....................... 3...5A

Resistor R8 sets the upper limit of adjustment, i.e. 30,4 V. Protection current and voltage you can put any that suits You. In the original digital readout. Was about the power supply as experimental, was tested and showed good results. At my request it was repeated several hams. Complaints were not. In the original transformer was taken SL/40-25. Current was used on 3 And (the need for more current). The display unit is made on the chip KRUA. The printed circuit Board was developed, depending on the applied parts.
