In the manufacture of wideband RF transformers (e.g., "Radio" No. 12/1988) a set of rings worn on the copper pipe. Making your amplifier, I was faced with the challenge of recruiting the tubes of the required diameter. Offer a more simple method of manufacturing such high-frequency transformers.
Of ferrite rings, glue two rolls of desired size. With coaxial cable remove the insulation from the bare screen is cut off a piece of the required size, so that it could fit two ferrite tubes and left the ring under conclusions. After that, the screen is put on both the tube of ferrite, and the inside screen pass two turns of wire MGTF (Fig.1). Gradually, pulling the ends of the wire, drive rolls with each other, after which the tubes are glued together with epoxy glue (Fig.2).
