The owners of TV device with program selection type SVP-4 (and its modifications) can increase the number of channels to 10 by simple modifications of MRAs using a wired remote.
A diagram (Fig.1), includes 8 channels and works in conjunction with the SVP-4-5 (ZUSTST) more than 5 years and not affect the operation of MRAs in the normal mode.
The schema contains the module M1 and the remote control. Selecting one of the 8 channels is carried out by micro switches SA1...SA4 depending on the position of the switches SA5, SA6. Adjust the volume in small steps is carried out by the regulator R3.
As in module M1 missing indicators, which optionally can be set, enabling the 7th and 8th channels lights up indication respectively 2 and 6 channels, which is a certain inconvenience.
Completion of MRAs is to break the connection of findings 8, 9 and 10, D4. The module M1 is mounted on a separate Board inside the TV. Connection VD2, VD4 is to one of the resistors R52, R56, R60 - depending on the selected range. The regulator R3 is included in the gap between pin 6 connector X9(A1) and X9(A9).
Configuring the 7th and 8th channels is carried out similarly to the first six channels R1, R2 off APCH.
Instead of dual switches SA5, SA6, you can use a single microswitches similar to SA1...SA4 (Fig.2).
If the number of received channels exceeds 8, the number of channels can be increased to 10, once the module M1. Thus it is necessary to connect the D2 pin 11 with pin 4 D4, after disconnecting pin 4 D4 from earth (for SVP-4-5, SVP-4-6, SVP-4-7).
Design and details
The module M1 is made on a piece of foil Micarta, the size of which depends on the size of the parts mounted Assembly. The remote control is made in plastic tooth brush case (HH mm) with installation SA1...SA6 and R3 in the slots of the top cover of the case. For convenience SA1...SA4 are placed in pairs. SA5, SA6 - small switches MT-3; SA1 ...SA4 - microswitches MTZ-1; R1, R2 - 100K, any type; VD - DB; R3 is preferably SPO-0,5 (to fit in the case).
Connecting the remote control with the TV is the wire MGTF small diameter of the required length.
